Assistant to Firm President 

 

About the Opportunity

Amie Gross Architects is looking for an individual who has the skills that will allow for a professional  experience in our fast-paced, collaborative environment and the opportunity to work on various strategic and administrative projects which support the President’s efforts to sustain the growth and success of the firm. This fulltime position will be at our offices in Long Island City, Monday-Friday, 9-6 pm.. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

  • Serve as trusted assistant to the AGA President.

  • Perform a wide range of office administration duties.

  • Liaise with the PEO

  • Support for marketing efforts on behalf of AGA.

  • Consult on community outreach for promotional efforts.

 

About You

You are an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Significant administrative experience—a minimum of 5 years.

  • The skillset to anticipate executive needs and follow through on details.

  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and willingness to approach challenges with curiosity and a creative flair.

  • Experience in the architectural, engineering and/or construction industry.

  • Experience coordinating with IT consultants. IT-savvy a plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.

  • An ability to work independently as well as in team settings.

  • A good sense of humor.

 

Location & COVID protocols

We are located in Long Island City, NYC, in walking distance to several subway lines. We expect all our employees to be fully vaccinated. We are set up to work remotely as necessary.
